How I feel lately

So today my roommate made brownies. I was sitting outside Skyping with my boyfriend (letting the high sink in from the brownies and the sun felt pretty amazing with the buzz I did have) and I saw a baby Praying Mantis on the A/C unit. I tried to get a picture of it, but the camera scared it away. I see it again a bit later and call my roommate out, but by the time she got there it was gone. A few minutes later I look down and I see the little guy just sitting on my lap. He’s stretching his little arms and posing at me. He was so tiny, and so awesome at the same time. He chilled on my lap, chest, arm, and enjoyed the sun with me for over an hour. It was really cool. If I wasn’t stoned I probably wouldn’t have even noticed the little dude.
